The Breast Plate prayer is a practical way to step into the ministry of the priesthood. All those who have been reconciled to Christ have been given a ministry of reconciliation. We are all supposed to partner with Christ in His ministry of intercession. This is engaging in spiritual warfare for eternal souls. Your prayers are powerful to plunder hell and populate heaven.
God recorded the details of the priesthood in the Old Testament for us to understand His heart for the lost. Each precious stone represents a soul. These were held close to the heart because they are close to God’s heart. God is asking us to hold them close to our hearts each day through prayer.
What do I do? 1. Listen to the following message by Bishop Larry Jackson. 2. Print out the Breastplate Card by clicking the icon. 3. Prayerfully select 12 people and pray the breastplate scriptures for the each day until they surrender their lives to Christ. Begin with your immediate family. God wishes your whole household to be saved. Then you can add friends, co-workers, classmates, neighbors and strangers.
